We are looking forward to meeting you all during Meet the Teacher at 2:30pm on Monday 10th September..
All homework will be uploaded on to Seesaw on a Friday to be completed by the following Wednesday.
Reading is a priority at StChrysostom's. All our children must read their reading book at least 3 times a week and parents are expected to sign their reading record. Each term we have a reading workshop to support you reading at home with your child. If you need any further support with this, please contact your class teacher and they will be happy to assist.
Good to be Green
It is important to follow the school rules and it is 'good to be green'.
The ‘Good to be Green scheme is an effective way of promoting positive behaviour, rewarding those pupils who consistently behave appropriately, and is a means of being able to track those pupils who find it harder to meet the school’s expected behaviour.
The scheme is very visual, with child friendly resources which allow our pupils to easily see how they are doing in class. We believe that it is important to promote a positive message regarding behaviour management at all times- ‘Good to be Green’ is a means of promoting our high expectations of positive behaviour. If a child has not had a good day, they can start afresh the following day.
