Mr S McVaigh

I’m Sam McVaigh and was appointed to the Governing body by the Local Authority. I work for Manchester City Council as a senior manager in the HR department with responsibility for a number of areas of work including Workforce Planning and Performance Management, Recognition and Reward, Health and Wellbeing and Staff Engagement and Equalities.

I’ve worked in lots of other departments in the Council including the Performance and Intelligence Service, Adult Social Care, Leisure and Civil Contingencies. In my spare time I enjoy singing and acting. I really enjoy being a governor and helping the school community.
